About

OCDS is a student society for anyone interested in creating or supporting Classical theatre at The University of Oxford. Funding is available for productions of all shapes and sizes (providing there is some perceptible link with Classical texts or the influence of Classical culture). From one-man shows costing a fiver to large-scale productions of 25K, from Aristophanes' Frogs to Aeschylus' Agamemnon, from performances in Greek and Latin to shows in English, there's something for everyone to enjoy. OCDS also engage in Education and Access work across Oxford University and in schools, and produce the Oxford Greek Play once every 3 years.
