Funding Applications

If you're putting on a show (a play, a poetry reading, an opera, another kind of 'performance') let us know, and we will help with promotion and organisation wherever possible. 

If the production is linked with Classical texts or the influence of Classical culture in any way (and this can be interpreted very broadly), your production will be eligible for funding from OCDS. We provide both grants and pro-rata loans, usually within the region of £200-500 (sometimes more if a case can be made for this), to help with the costs of a production, including those which take place outside of Oxford (on condition that the production is designed and delivered by Oxford University students). 

To apply, simply send an email to the address below with the basic details about the performance (title, prospective dates, the venue which you are applying to) and attach a budget for the production (as an excel sheet). It is helpful if you specify the amount which you would like to apply for, and details of other funding bodies which you are applying to.
