The Oxford Greek Play

The Oxford Greek Play is OCDS' flagship event which takes place once every three years (and forms part of a cycle with productions at Cambridge and at Bradfield College in the intervening years). A student team bids to stage an ancient Greek comedy or tragedy of their choice and the winning bid is chosen by the OCDS committee. After this selection process, an application is made by the winning team to the Oxford Playhouse and assessed alongside the other student productions bidding for the same slots (one or two are available per term).
